Lo Omdot Mineged (Don't Stand By)
about
Balancing sensitivity and strength for a stigmatized issue
Taking action should be easy. You care about the cause, you want to help, you look for ways to get involved. But the existing site buried volunteer opportunities under dense content and unclear navigation. Potential supporters left without taking action.
Lo Omdot Mineged needed a site that matched the urgency of their mission, clear paths to volunteering, donating, and engaging with the cause. Designed for people ready to move from awareness to action.

the problem
No hierarchy, no audience distinction, inconsistent design and UX that didn't support action
The existing site serves as an information channel but isn't fulfilling its potential as an advocacy tool or effective platform for recruiting volunteers and donations.

Site structure
From scattered pages to focused paths.
I reduced the number of pages by consolidating scattered content into focused one-pagers. Made navigation more scannable, from "I want to help" to "Volunteering and Support", making it easier for users to find specific ways to engage.

The design system
Building a visual language that balances strength with sensitivity.
I built a system that creates a sense of safety and support. The color palette establishes warmth and trust, while typography grounds the experience with stability and sympathy. Icons use simple, repeating shapes to reinforce consistency and approachability.
